I am sure glad you were born…my life would have been a lot less happy if you had not been.

When Debbie was growing up, spending her summers in the hills of eastern Kentucky and listening to bluegrass music, she somehow heard a Brazilian “Bossa Nova” song called “A Garota de Ipanema” (The Girl from Ipanema) and loved it, never realizing that she would someday marry a crazy guy who would take her to Brazil….to Ipanema Beach which inspired the 1962 song.

Here are the words, I dedicate this song to my girl from Miami…
