Psalm 63 - 2007 winding down. · Dec 27, 07:55 AM

1. God—you’re my God! I can’t get enough of you!
I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God,
traveling across dry and weary deserts.

2. So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last!

This Psalm reflects my heart (and Debbie’s) as 2007 draws to a close and we prepare to start a new year. We are grateful for the journey that has brought us to this present moment.

All of our desires and anxieties have been slowly stripped away. We keep lightening our load as we climb ever higher on this pathway of life – leaving behind hurt, fear, anger, and every other unnecessary and toxic emotion that slows us down and hinders our journey.

We are surrendering more and more to Divine Love and holding on to less and less of the concerns of this life. As the Psalmist says, we have traveled across a dry and weary desert, and we are hungry and thirsty for the goodness and the glory of God. Nothing else much matters.

Our eyes are open and we are in a place of worship…our lives have become a living prayer. In HIS generous love we are living at last!

Happy New Year and multiplied blessings to all of our friends, old and new.

Love, Joseph and Debbie.

  3. We have been blessed with marvelous comrades. You all are some of the most marvelous!

May we all learn to stare death in the face and live life each day to the fullest and best.

After all, we’re all staring at death, some of us just have more details about it’s probability…

Happy New Year, with lots of love,

    John and Vicki
