Friends For The Journey

I am sitting outside at FIU on Tues. nght at 8:30 PM…waiting for a couple of students who want to discuss the purpose-driven life book with me.

I need some prayer right now….I am somewhat discouraged. I had been doing much better, but since Debbie has been on chemo again, I find myself having to battle to avoid thinking about negative future possibilities. I am probably feeling some grief.

I really enjoyed going with John to the IAM artists conference in New York last weekend. About half way through, though, I began to feel very weary….the feeling of “whats the point?”

I am feeling somewhat better this morning. Two students showed up and we had a good, vulnerable conversation about the meaning of life.
