The latest pet scan shows two tumors returning in the same places they were before, her breastbone and in her cervical spine. There is also a possible tumor in the colon. Obviously, this is a lot for us to process. Our faith, however, is unshaken. We have been here before, she has had tumors before and they have shrunk.
She called me last night, and told me that the one in her breast bone seems to be growing aggressively, and is causing her some pain. We will be meeting with her oncologist on Wednesday for a consultation. I would appreciate your prayers for her.
Thanks,
Psalm 46: 1-3 God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need him.
We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom,
courageous in seastorm and earthquake,
Before the rush and roar of oceans,
the tremors that shift mountains.
Jacob-wrestling God fights for us,
GOD-of-Angel-Armies protects us.

Debbie is back in Miami and we met with the oncologist yesterday. Last Dec, because Deb was doing so well, the oncologist reluctantly agreed to stretch out the interval between chemo infusions from every two weeks to every three wees.
The first thing the doctor recommends is that we go back to the every two weeks schedule. If that does not slow down or reverse the growth of the tumors, then she will try adding different drugs to the chemical coctail.
