Hi everyone:

Yesterday, Debbie and I were celebrating 35 wonderful years of LUV, LUV, LUV ♫♪ (sounds like a Beatles song!) since we joined our lives together.

We went to Cracker Barrel and and in the morning we went to the marina near our house and walked out by the water.

We have been reminiscing about the adventurous life we have had with all the ups and downs. Sometimes we feel like Sam and Frodo on a one way trip to Mount Doom, but nevertheless we are in love — deeply — now more than we have ever been.


We have recently began spending 10 minutes a day leaning the dance steps to Salsa …


When we take the big perspective we realize how totally blessed we are (above, in Paris in 2005).

  4. Thank you all. Patti, life IS an amazing journey – an arduous. Jesus said, “in the world, you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.”

    It is a tough journey… many, if not most, do not make it to the finish line with joy or happiness. Blessed is the man who has a companion for the journey like I have had. Many make the journey alone, many start out with a companion but lose them along the way. Some make it to 35 years but few actually have MORE love and MORE joy at the 35 year mark.

    I fervently hope that you are right and that we have many more. In our situation, we cannot take that for granted.
