Go and make disciples of all the people-groups: (Matt. 28:19). This is probably my favorite command of Christ and one that I have attempted to define my life by. Debbie and I had the good fortune of beginning our walk in the kingdom by being trained to be disciples. We also have attempted, not always successfully, to teach others.

I just returned from New York last night where my son, John, and I attended an International Arts conference that applied the principles of the kingdom through the arts…using musical, dramatic and visual arts as metaphors. The kingdom is moving through new channels in the earth.

Jan. 21, 2007 – I have been baptized three times in my life. The first time was after I responded to an invitation by Billy Graham at age 12 in Columbus, Ohio… I was baptized in a creek in Columbus, the same one that Debbie was baptized in.

Greetings fellow followers of the teachings of Jesus!
I just noticed that it has been over six weeks since I sent out the last teachings of Jesus outline. I have been sending weekly prayer updates to a smaller group of people who have indicated an interest in providing prayer cover for me in my university outreach.

The teaching of Jesus I am focusing on this month is Jesus’ encouragement to us to “watch and pray” that we not enter into temptation.
I want to thank you all for your prayers for us in this past year…probably the most difficult year of our lives. Debbie is doing much better…and Ruth is really happy serving God in Costa Rica with the Johnsons.
