On several occasions as I’ve gone outside to smoke a cigarette or two, I’ve had the distinct impression that God was pleased with me. Now is it because of the fact that I was smoking? I don’t claim to know that, but doesn’t it seem odd that God created the tobacco plant?

I recently read the novel War and Peace, by Tolstoy. It was captivating throughout and I found that I could hardly put it down. I was drawn into the characters lives as if I was living them myself and related deeply with the different elements of their psyche.
